Welcome to Sunrise Garage & Gates. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at sunrisegaragegates.com and the garage door and gate products and services we provide throughout the State of Florida. By using our site, requesting an estimate, or hiring us for work, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Who We Are

Sunrise Garage & Gates ("we," "us," or "our") sells, installs, and repairs garage doors, gates, openers, and operators for homes and businesses across Florida. We operate from a main office in Port St. Lucie and a second office in Boca Raton, and we serve customers statewide.

2. Estimates & Pricing

Any prices, ballpark figures, or ranges shared over the phone, by text, by email, or on our website are for general information only and are not binding. A quote becomes binding only when we provide you with a written quote for the specific scope of work, and that written quote is accepted by you. Verbal "over-the-phone" estimates are courtesy guidance to help you plan; the final, agreed price is always the one set out in writing.

Written quotes are valid for the period stated on the document (typically 30 days) unless otherwise noted. Pricing may change if, once on site, we discover hidden damage, code or wind-load requirements, rusted or seized hardware, or other conditions not visible at the time the quote was prepared. We will discuss any such change with you and obtain your approval before performing additional work.

3. Scheduling & Cancellation

We will do our best to arrive within the scheduled window and to complete your garage door or gate work promptly. Appointment times may be affected by weather (including Florida storms and hurricane activity), parts availability, traffic, and emergencies ahead of you in the queue. If we expect a meaningful delay, we will let you know.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us as much notice as you reasonably can — at least 24 hours is appreciated. A trip, diagnostic, or restocking fee may apply for missed appointments, last-minute cancellations after a crew has been dispatched, or special-order products that have already been ordered or fabricated for you. Any such fees will be communicated to you before they are charged whenever possible.

4. Workmanship & Warranty

We stand behind our labor with a workmanship warranty on the installations and repairs we perform. The exact warranty term and coverage are stated on your written quote, invoice, or warranty document. Manufactured products — doors, gates, openers, springs, operators, and related hardware — carry the separate warranty offered by their manufacturer, and we will help you understand and make use of those product warranties.

Our workmanship warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, vehicle impact, power surges, storm or flood damage, normal wear, corrosion from extreme coastal salt-air exposure where recommended maintenance was not performed, alterations or repairs by anyone other than Sunrise Garage & Gates, or failure to follow recommended maintenance. Routine maintenance, lubrication, and adjustments are the owner's responsibility unless covered by a separate service plan.

5. Payment

Payment is due as set out on your written quote or invoice. For some jobs — particularly custom, special-order, or larger commercial work — we may require a deposit before ordering materials or scheduling installation, with the balance due on completion. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. Past-due balances may be subject to late fees and reasonable collection costs as permitted by Florida law.

6. Your Responsibilities

To help us do the job right, we ask that you provide safe and reasonable access to the work area, accurate information about your property and any HOA or permit requirements, and a clear space around the garage door or gate. Please keep children and pets away from work zones. You are responsible for obtaining any HOA approvals required for design, color, or style; we are glad to provide documentation to help.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sunrise Garage & Gates is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to our services or your use of this website. Our total liability for any claim relating to a job will not exceed the amount you paid us for that specific job. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable Florida law. The website and its content are provided "as is" for general information, and we make no warranty that the information is complete, current, or error-free.

8. Website Use

The content, logos, text, and images on this website are owned by or licensed to Sunrise Garage & Gates and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to copy, scrape, misuse, or attempt to disrupt the site. Outbound links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and are not endorsements; we are not responsible for their content.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from our services are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the proper venue for any dispute is the appropriate state or federal court located in Florida.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
